Challenge:

I wanted to create a new website design for Caesars Palace that is more modern, exciting, and ties in the brand better. Caesars Palace has a lot of history in Las Vegas, and I wanted to make sure that it shined through the design.

Some survey feedback

After sitting on on some User Testing sessions and reading survey feedback about the website, I decided on a few main points that I wanted to make sure where integrated:

  • I wanted to tie the Caesars Entertainment brand into the website (along with its other sub-properties) in order to give Caesars Entertainment better brand recognition. Many people aren’t aware that Caesars owns many other hotels on the strip. By adding a universal navigation bar, this will help people better understand that the benefits
  • There is a lot of feedback about the hotel’s resort fees. I wanted to be more blatant about those fees on the homepage under the sales section so people are aware before they get into their trip summary checkout.
  • Guests love seeing photos of rooms and hotels. I added a “Photo” link into the navigation that will have a better gallery of images for a user to see before having to go into the booking engine.
  • I added a language translator for our international guests making the website more accommodating for them to read
  • I added a search feature that will help anyone that may be lost on the site find the content they are looking for more easily.
  • The verbiage under “Caesars Rewards” in the navigation is usually just, “Sign-In”. This currently doesn’t accommodate new users, so I added both, “Sign In / Join Now” verbiage instead.

Solution:

Here are some of my wireframe examples for both the homepage and mobile implementing everything listed above.
